Project Monitoring
In conjunction with our building surveying division, we can provide advice on the technical aspects of a project to confirm the adequacy of the proposed design and technical detailing for a range of projects. This work can involve advising on statutory applications, approvals, licences and consents and the Client’s own specific design requirements.
Our core knowledge provides an ideal basis from which to ensure that the key financial and contractual considerations are sufficiently considered and embraced. This extends beyond any main building contract to consider other consultants’ appointments, performance bonds, insurance requirements, deeds of collateral warranty, novations and the like.
| Following commencement of works on site our service includes inspecting the development at regular intervals in order to monitor the quality of construction, cashflow, compliance with H M Customs & Excise rulings and undertaking interim valuations as part of the overall financial management of the project. Such inspections also enable us to monitor compliance with the initial proposals together with any subsequent variations and facilitate regular reporting to the funder. |
