P H Warr plc has an extensive track record representing the employer and performing what would contractually be regarded as the employer’s responsibilities under design and build and / or partnering construction projects. Our Employer’s Agents become an integral part of our Client’s organisations to fully understand their aspirations, expectations, appraisals, culture and requirements for success.

The service places its focus upon ensuring that those client’s requirements are properly identified, documented and realised, whilst the key parameters of cost, quality and programme are achieved.

Our Employer’s Agent service has evolved from documentation and contract administration, borrowing heavily from the company’s approach to both project management and quantity surveying. The service generally encompasses management of the project team, engagement with stakeholders and where possible the future asset management teams.

The service places considerable importance on developing the most effective procurement strategy. The use of modern procurement techniques mean that design and build and partnering contracts are very flexible and can be adapted to suit the Client’s requirements and risk profile. This enables our service to be tailored to meet the specific client’s needs, whether the Client or Constructor was leading the design process and depending on the design status at contract.

This coupled with robust contract administration and quality control, a thorough understanding of the development process, commercial awareness and genuine interest in building projects ensure a dynamic and pro-active service.
