Asbestos Surveys

The Environmental Surveying division is a leading provider of Asbestos Surveys.

P H Warr plc is UKAS accredited to undertake Type I, II and III asbestos surveys in accordance with MDHS 100.

Asbestos surveyors

By having this accreditation, our Clients have the reassurance that our surveys are quality assured and meet the European standards BS EN ISO/IEC17020. All our experienced Asbestos Surveyors hold as a minimum the BOHS P402 certificate.

 

P H Warr plc focuses on the management of asbestos materials within buildings and formulates specific training courses and management strategies in relation to this. Costly removal is only recommended following specific risk assessment and only where a suitable and safe management plan cannot be devised.


Our Environmental Surveyors are able to provide any of the following Asbestos Survey services:

•
 Undertaking asbestos surveys in accordance with MDHS 100.
•
 Formulating Asbestos Management Plans on behalf of the Client.
•
 Provision of information handling systems to enable the Client to identify the location, type, extent and condition of asbestos containing materials in each property and successfully manage a monitoring and inspection programme.
•
 Provision of training to Property Managers to enable future monitoring and risk assessment of asbestos containing material.
•
 Assisting in the accurate communication of the risks associated with asbestos to employees and building occupants.
•
 Co - ordination of any contracts involving work on asbestos, including:
•
 Providing budget estimates on the cost of work involving asbestos.
•
 Preparation of tender documentation.
•
 Seeking tenders on behalf of the Client.
•
 Assessing the competence of asbestos contractors.
•
 Monitoring of asbestos contractors to ensure the successful and safe completion of the project on behalf of the Client.
