plc is committed to recruiting graduates with the right dynamic attitude
and ability to build long-term relationships; these criteria we believe
are critical to people developing their abilities and becoming future
industry leaders.
Graduate
opportunities are available in our Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying
and Construction Health and Safety Divisions. Our objective is to establish
structured training programmes with our graduates via our internal network
of nominated supervisors and counsellors.
The intention
is for each graduate to gain a broad range of experience during the
initial 2 year period on which more specialist knowledge can then be
built. Each graduate is assigned a supervisor with responsibility to
oversee the relevant work on a daily basis. The counsellor's role would
be to strategically review the individual's career progression.
All graduates
are immediately integrated within the company and become active members
of their relevant teams. They can expect to begin working on a variety
of projects at different stages of implementation that will provide
maximum exposure to all areas of our business. With progression will
come increasing levels of responsibility and by the end of the first
year the person could well be running their own projects.
As a company
we expect that all graduates will commit to gaining chartered status,
i.e. professional qualifications within the minimum period. To that
end we offer structured training programmes, contact with our internal
assessors, network of study groups and access to CPD and training events
together with the level of support and encouragement expected from a
dynamic and progressive organisation.
